Unlike traditional signing methods, SelfieSign uses audio-visual recording during the signing process to capture both the signer's biometric traits and their clear intention to sign, ensuring the authenticity and legal validity of each signature.
At the core of SelfieSign lies our unique and patented SVS (Selfie Video Signature) technology. The SVS file is a comprehensive record embedded with a video recording of the signing process, the electronic signature, location, timestamp, and hash code of the signer.
The SVS format also uses PKI algorithms to verify the integrity of every file. This ensures the document's immutability, meaning the contents cannot be altered after signing. And it also provides irrefutable proof of non-repudiation, eliminating any possibility of a signer denying their signature.
Today, SelfieSign is quickly becoming the go-to solution for secure and efficient electronic signatures. It has gained significant traction in Taiwan, particularly within the medical field, with over 70% of medical centers replacing their paper-based processes with SelfieSign.
This translates to over 70,000 hospital beds utilizing SelfieSign for electronic consent forms and other procedures, significantly reducing paper usage.

EXPLORING .SVS FILES
SelfieSign uses .SVS, our cutting-edge technology which ensures that each e-signature is non-repudiable. In addition to the commonly used PAdES format, the .SVS electronic signature file embeds the signer's electronic signature, video recording, voice, location, timestamp, hash code, and other details.
It also incorporates the signer's digital footprint and adheres to random AES and RSA encryption to safeguard the signed video, in line with the EU's elDAS XAdES and ASIC standards for enhanced security. This makes SelfieSign suitable for high-risk and highly regulated transactions where AES (Advanced Electronic Signature) e-signatures are required.
In fact, SelfieSign is the only e-signature solution certified for elDAS AES, which makes it incredibly effective at mitigating the risks associated with forged or disputed signatures. Our solution is also ISO 27001:2013 certified, meeting the highest global security standards and safeguarding your data against threats.
